Strategic Site Selection was founded in 2004 by CEO, Mark Dosman. What began as a small operation quickly evolved, and by 2012, we launched our first website, officially introducing our services to a broader audience.
In 2015, we kicked off a new fiscal year with a meaningful commitment: our now long-standing partnership with the SickKids Foundation, donating a portion of our profits annually to support children's health. That same year, in response to our rapid growth, we established our Key Account Management (KAM) department to better serve our expanding client base.
From 2015 to 2019, we operated out of Mark’s basement—our first official "office"—before moving into a dedicated office space in 2019. In 2022, we hit another major milestone: launching Sandbox Events, the event management arm of SSS. That same year, we introduced Last Call, our annual signature event that celebrates our clients and industry partners.
This year, we proudly celebrate 20 years in the industry, a journey filled with growth, challenges, resilience, and success. We’re incredibly thankful for the trust of our clients and partners and are proud to be recognized as Canada’s leading site selection company.

Second Harvest is committed to preventing good, surplus food from going to waste by collecting it and redistributing it to non-profits and charities across the country.
